My school got a four-day weekend, and unfortunately, today is the last day of that weekend. And like usual, I haven't done a lick of homework at all during this weekend. (School work I mean. I've been busy with the forums, my graphic shop, and chores ) I'm going to have fun today! *sarcastic woot*

Let's move on to the interesting stuff shall we. On another Wizard101 Fansite called Wizard101 Central, a contest was held and at most three signatures were to be made by artists from all over the forum. The first-place prize was a $20 Wizard101 gift card. There were many great entries, and I happened to win the first place prize!
I got the code today, and entered it. Another surprise, I got a thousand extra crowns! That hopefully makes one more location I can buy with the crowns.

As most people know on this site, I do graphic art such as signatures, avatars, banners, etc. And I've even won a few graphic contests for Wizard101 gift cards. Those crowns are the only reason I'm able to run around Dragonspyre. But lately, I've run out of crowns. I've entered the "A day in my life as a wizard" contest, but with so many people entering, my chances of winning are slim. Besides, it's not really a graphic contest, it's more a screenshot taking contest. I had to change my entry several times because I used effects that I wasn't allowed to use. *sigh*

Now summer's almost over, and I'm not able to get to the Grand Chasm. Worse yet, I'm a level 47 Pyromancer. No quests, no card, no crowns. But there is a slight bright side to all of this. I've found a graphic contest where the host is offering 2 $20 gift cards to the winner who gets him a mega-awesome signature. Little catches to this:

Plenty of people are entering.
The deadline is the last day of August.
I have a limit to when I can go on the computer.

On the bright side of things:

My friend Daniel has joined the graphic world. (He's also a fan of Wizard101. Maybe I can ask him to join Wizspace.) I've been teaching the ways of GIMP (the graphic manipulating program I use.) He's doing very well and has taken a liking to the program. He's also entering in the same graphic contests as I am. (I'd be happy if he wins, we share an account. )

Highlights of my days:
My friend is doing well with GIMP.
I found an awesome contest.
I still got the top-poster spot.

Downsides:
My dad "arrested" (his words, not mine) my computer. (How am I on you ask? Because he doesn't know... If he finds out, I'm dead. X( )
The only times I can go on the computer with the slightest amount of freedom is when my dad is out of the house, or napping.
I have to keep my baby brother in check, because if he sees my on my computer, he's going to go running to my dad...
Yes, I'm a rule breaker. Deal with it.
